We provide a wide variety of marine
services including refurbishing, major/minor repair, re-powering, custom rigging
and custom fabrication. Our expertise in fiberglass repair is well known
by boatyards, insurance adjustors as well as "weekend captains."
We can install our own custom-built bow
pulpits, and we can provide custom built tunnels and skegs to enhance your boat
and improve its control. Our installation of a bow thruster or an outboard
engine bracket can also improve the performance of your boat. If your boating
areas include low bridges, let us custom modify your existing radar arch, so it
folds down. With this feature, you will be able to explore new and additional
waterways.
In addition to fiberglass repair and custom fabrication, we
specialize in boat warranty and insurance repair work, recall services and
prototype construction. Our regular service area encompasses a 150-mile radius from Cape
Coral and Southwest Florida, and we are approximately two hours from all major
South Florida cities. Past projects have also included major repairs and
modifications to boats located throughout the Caribbean Islands and Southeast
United States.
Island Coast Boat Works specializes in insurance repairs. We have repaired
boats damaged by Hurricanes Charlie, Francis, Ivan, Jeanne, Wilma and Katrina.
Damaged boats have been brought to us from as far as New Orleans, Louisiana,
Alabama and Mississippi. Our unique “Repair Tracker” gives peace of mind to our
long distance customers, after all, pictures say it all.
All of our technicians are highly skilled,
and their backgrounds include extensive experience in both the boat building and
the boat repair industry. All work is done to American Boat
and Yacht Council (ABYC) and U.S. Coast Guard standards.
“Repair Tracker” allows all of our customers, especially our long distance
customers to be completely involved in the repair process of their boat, without
having to make a phone call. With “Repair Tracker,” boat owners have the ability
to stay abreast with daily updated photos and progress on their repair project
through the Internet. This feature is available 24 hours a day from the comfort
of your home or office computer, reassuring the owner that their boat is in good
hands.
